We are delighted to offer an opportunity to be in community and practice self care. With all that’s going on “out there”,  it’s important to check in with one another and ourselves so we can take care of what’s going on inside of us. We invite you to join us to allow the sounds and vibrations of our drums, rattles, singing bowls, and chimes, to wash over you releasing tension and preparing your entire being to enter into a relaxed full-body experience as I lead us in a Yoga Nidra practice. The Nidra practice will soften our tight places, help us release things we didn’t know we needed to release, and bring us to the relaxed state where mind, body, spirit can rest in a state of balance and rejuvenate itself.

The sounds, vibrations, and practice provide an excellent tonic for all.

 

​What to bring…
A yoga mat or blanket to lie on
A pillow to support your head
Something to put under your knees to support your lower back: extra pillow, bolster, etc.
Blanket to cover yourself
Eye covering suggested but is optional

Curious about what Yoga Nidra is? Why would you practice it? What are the benefits?

​

Join me as I explain the practice, the benefits and then lead a full 45 minute Yoga Nidra session. Many who have experienced Yoga Nidra will describe it as profoundly moving and healing but might not know the principles behind the practice that make it so powerful.

​

Bring whatever you need to rest comfortably for 45 minutes like a blanket/mat, pillows, eye covering. Yoga Nidra is usually practiced laying down, but you can participate in a chair if needed. This is a full guided practice, no yoga or meditation experience is required.

Join us for a Sound Bath and Yoga Nidra

This is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to release and restore, to ground and to balance. We begin with instruments like rattles, a powwow drum, hand drums, singing bowls, chimes and a gong. All of these vibrations bring us into a relaxed state where the mind, body, spirit can rest in a state of balance, healing and rejuvenation.

 

The session will wrap-up with a guided Yoga Nidra to bring us to the space between the conscious and unconscious. Deeper healing and connection happen here.

 

Sound Baths and Yoga Nidra both provide an opportunity to enter into deep altered states for meditation, dreaming/visioning, and receiving information from within and subconscious healing.

 

No experience necessary. We do all the heavy lifting, you get to lay back and let the vibrations do the work.

What to bring…
Anything that will help you recline comfortably, chairs will also be available.
